"Please, I Need Help": Loki Actor Jack Veal Reveals He"s Homeless In New TikTok Video

Jack Veal, who was part of Marvel Studios" Loki series, has shared a new video where the actor reveals he is homeless. Veal has been part of some high-profile projects, such as The Favourite, starring names like Olivia Colman and Emma Stone; The End of the F***ing World, where he played the young version of one of the show"s main characters; and Loki, his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. In the Disney+ series, Veal portrayed a multiverse variant of Loki, standing out from the rest of the cast of Marvel"s Loki as his Kid Loki could become a part of the Young Avengers.
On TikTok, Loki star Jack Veal shared a new video detailing how he came to be homeless, asking for help.
According to the 17-year-old actor, he suffered physical violence and emotional abuse at home. He mentioned how he could not stay with his grandparents as his grandfather is terminally unwell and how social services refused to help him. The video came as a way for Veal to get his situation out there and lead to social services helping the actor so that he should not have to sleep in the streets or empty trailers any longer. The video has since gone viral.
Jack Veal's TikTok Video And Updates Explained The MCU Actor Has Shared More Since The First Video Posted a day ago, Jack Veal"s viral video detailed how he struggles with mental health and how he became desperate after social services refused to help him despite telling them what he is going through. Veal then went on to show his living conditions. The actor is sleeping in "a trailer that has smashed-in windows" and is two hours away from his work, making getting there every day hard. To end the video, the Loki actor made it clear that he was not asking anyone for money. He just wanted the video to go viral to get social services" attention. Check out the transcript below:
"Hi. I"m a famous actor, I"m 17, and I"m homeless. You may know me from "Loki," "End of the F***ing World," or various other movies where I played important roles. I haven"t mentioned much about what"s been going on in my life, but I think it"s time to reveal the truth. Now I won"t delve too much into the details. I was abused at home. It was physical violence, emotional abuse, and et cetera.
I didn"t have a very good upbringing. I struggle with mental health. I have autism, ADHD, and am being screened for bipolar and psychosis. I can"t stay at my grandparents" because my granddad is terminally unwell. I have nowhere else to go, and I need help. Social services refuses to help me despite what I have told them. I am desperate.
I"ve been sleeping in the streets. I am currently sleeping in a trailer that has smashed-in windows, is unsafe, is two hours away from my work, which means I struggle to get to work every day. It"s difficult. Life is hard. At the moment, I have nothing else. I am on my knees begging for you guys to just share this, do something, spread the message of how the government are treating kids.
I need help. Please share, please share it with whoever you can. You don"t have to pay me anything, I don"t need anything. I just need you to make this go as viral as possible.
I"ll continue to put some more stuff out, but, please, I need help."
After the initial video went viral, Jack Veal shared positive updates about his situation. In one of them, the Kid Loki actor revealed that he got to sleep at a friend"s house after the video spread through social media. Veal also noted how many people offered him a place to stay. While he thanked them, the actor mentioned that the goal of the videos is to get social services to help him, as he needs stability instead of hopping from place to place.
After putting pressure on social services, Veal revealed that an interview would be coming out about his situation. Then came the actor"s most positive video yet. A tearful Veal revealed that he received a call from social services and that he would meet with them tomorrow to "essentially get [him] into foster care and support and accommodations." He thanked those who helped by sharing the video and promised to share updates about the meeting. While there should be more to come from him tomorrow after the meeting, Jack Veal"s videos have at least gotten social services to finally consider him for accommodation.
