The symbiote could attach itself to Peter Parker, reviving him and setting up a major multiversal story for Tom Holland"s Spider-Man 4.

The latest entry in Sony"s Spider-Man Universe introduced one of the most dangerous villains from Marvel Comics, Knull. The character is the creator of the symbiotes, and the mere mention of Knull"s name struck fear in Venom. In the SSU, Knull tries to escape the prison the symbiotes put him in, but he can only do so with a special key — a Codex. When a symbiote brings its host back to life, a Codex is formed. If Spider-Man died and the symbiote resurrected him, Knull would know.

A new Marvel theory suggests both Knull and Eddie Brock could catch wind of Peter Parker"s possible death and resurrection in Avengers: Doomsday and become part of Spider-Man 4 for two completely different purposes. Knull could be after the Codex and somehow be freed to become a physical threat to Spider-Man and Venom instead of just a shadowy figure. As for Eddie, he could connect with the piece of the symbiote in the MCU, leading to Venom"s return.
