"We Finally Have The X-Men Back": Kevin Feige Explains How Avengers 6 Leads Into "A New Age Of Mutants"

While the X-Men movie reboot is still in development, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already planning to utilize the mutants sooner rather than later.
At the Disney APAC Content Showcase (via Deadline,) which was being held in Singapore, Kevin Feige was virtually present through a video to tease the next few years of the MCU, which includes the X-Men. While not giving any details away about the X-Men reboot, Feige teased that fans may see some beloved mutants before the end of The Multiverse Saga, as they will lead into the "age of mutants," sharing the following:

I think you will see that continues in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize. Right after that, the whole story of Secret Wars really leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men. Again, [it’s] one of those dreams come true. We finally have the X-Men back.
