Ralph Bohner"s MCU Return Makes 1 Part Of Scarlet Witch"s Story Infinitely Darker

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along episode 6, "Familiar By Thy Side."
Evan Peters returned to the MCU as Ralph Bohner in Agatha All Along, giving him the chance to explain more about his mysterious WandaVision role. After making several appearances as Peter Maximoff"s Quicksilver in 20th Century Fox"s X-Men franchise, Evan Peters" MCU debut in WandaVision came as a huge surprise. Peters masqueraded as a recast version of Pietro Maximoff for WandaVision"s Halloween-themed episode before it was revealed that he was actually a Westview resident under the control of Kathryn Hahn"s powerful witch, Agatha Harkness.
Evan Peters was revealed to actually be portraying actor Ralph Bohner inside the Westview Anomaly, though he was teased to be FBI agent Jimmy Woo"s missing person in a tell-all deleted scene from WandaVision. What became a funny bit-part has been given new meaning in Agatha All Along episode 6, "Familiar By Thy Side," which marked Peters" return to the MCU. Meeting with Billy Maximoff and Eddie three years after the events of WandaVision gave Ralph Bohner the chance to reveal more about his tragic experience inside the Hex.
Agatha Harkness Forced Ralph Bohner To Kill Sparky In WandaVision Sparky The Dog Died In WandaVision Episode 7, "Breaking The Fourth Wall" Close Sparky was introduced as the Maximoff family dog in WandaVision episode 5, "On a Very Special Episode...," which saw Billy and Tommy age-up to ten-years-old, Vision begin to unravel the mystery of the Hex, and Evan Peters debut, seemingly as Pietro Maximoff. Unfortunately, episode 5 also marked Sparky"s early demise, with nosy neighbor Agnes apparently finding him dead after eating her azalea leaves. The "Agatha All Along" song in WandaVision episode 7 saw Agnes, outing herself as Agatha Harkness, admit to killing Sparky, but this wasn"t actually the case.
Agatha All Along episode 6 saw Ralph Bohner, wanting to go by the name of Randall - perhaps his real name outside the Hex - detail some of his time under Agatha Harkness" control in WandaVision. Noting that Agatha "hijacked [his] life," Randall confirms that it was actually him who poisoned Sparky, with Agatha using him as her puppet to carry out her dirty work. This seriously alters Agatha Harkness" depiction in WandaVision, and makes both her story and Ralph Bohner"s narrative in WandaVision and Agatha All Along even more tragic.
Agatha All Along Makes Ralph Bohner’s Story Even More Tragic WandaVision Turned Ralph Bohner Into A Joke, But Agatha All Along Revealed The Truth Evan Peters was the comic relief in WandaVision, with both his versions of Pietro Maximoff and Ralph Bohner being played off as jokes. Pietro was more rough around the edges than he was when played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, while Ralph was an entirely unserious character. The reveal that Ralph Bohner had killed Sparky in WandaVision could be read as Agatha Harkness showing her softer side, as she may not have wanted to kill the dog herself, but this also teases the true extent of her grip on Ralph.
Related Marvel Kills 4 Agatha Theories - Including The Huge Scarlet Witch One We All Fell For Agatha All Along episode 6 was brimming with revelations that have destroyed four popular theories, including Teen’s motivations and Scarlet Witch.
6 Agatha All Along revealed that, similarly to the Scarlet Witch"s influence on the people of Westview, Agatha Harkness" control had a huge impact on Ralph Bohner"s psyche. This was teased after Monica Rambeau removed the necklace that Agatha Harkness was using to control Ralph in WandaVision"s finale, but shown in greater detail in Agatha All Along. It"s unclear whether Ralph Bohner, or Randall, will return to the MCU, but it would be great to see him developed further, and hopefully recover from his traumatic experiences.
