Blade (2025) is set to finally be released in November 2025 if there are no further delays to production, but more than a year ahead of the film, a major vampire weakness has already been revealed in the MCU. The history of vampires in comic books has led to these supernatural creatures having a broad range of myths and legends that align with popular fiction, and some that stand out as unique to Marvel. In addition, Marvel has followed several distinct types of vampire, from fully fledged blood suckers, to the daywalkers, like Blade, and pseudo-vampires like Morbius who altered their DNA.
However, the MCU has only flirted with vampires up to this point, with references to these creatures appearing in the Marvel Special Presentation, Werewolf by Night, and now another mention in Agatha All Along. While there is still much to be revealed about vampires as they exist within the MCU, there is a clear confirmation that they exist on the supernatural plane.
