Agatha All Along Showrunner Reveals What MCU Cameo She Wanted To Include And Why She Didn"t
A beloved MCU character almost made a cameo in
Agatha All Along, according to the series" showrunner Jac Schaeffer. Agatha All Along takes up where WandaVision left off, breaking Agatha Harkness out of Wanda Maximoff"s spell and taking her down the legendary Witches" Road alongside a new witch coven. Due to its magical nature, Agatha All Along features mystical characters such as Joe Lock"s Billy Maximoff a.k.a. Wiccan and Aubrey Plaza"s Rio Vidal a.k.a. Death. Also due to the series" magical themes, Agatha All Along almost featured a cameo by a breakout MCU character previously involved in interdimensional hijinks.
During an interview in the House of R podcast (via TVLine), Agatha All Along showrunner Jac Schaeffer reveals that she tried to include Patty Guggenheim"s Madisynn King in the series. However, after much brainstorming, Schaeffer had to discard the cameo. Madisynn made her MCU debut in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, where she was sent to a hell dimension by amateur magician Donny Blaze, made a pact with a demon to escape, and later befriended Wong, Earth"s Sorcerer Supreme.
