New DC Universe art brings the upcoming Clayface horror movie to life as the world gets ready for his proper live-action debut. As 2024 ended with the surprise that a Clayface movie is coming in 2026, the DCU audience is about to see one of Batman"s famous baddies headline his own film. With Clayface getting his spotlight in the DCU this early, many are obviously wondering how DC Studios will tackle this character in James Gunn"s franchise.
Following the confirmation that Mike Flannigan is writing the Clayface movie for DC Studios, Hipbeach shared artwork of what the villainous mud monster could look like in Gunn"s DCU. The Clayface poster pitches Creature Commandos" Alan Tudyk, who voiced the Batman foe this season, as the lead of the DCU film. Check it out below.
At the time of this story"s publication, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not Tudyk is attached to the Clayface movie, as DC Studios is still looking for a director to helm the project.
