Alexandra Daddario has all the needed elements to bring Wonder Woman to life in the new DC Universe and make her performance as memorable as the character deserves. At one point, it seemed like Gal Gadot"s version of Diana Prince would survive the end of the DCEU"s movie timeline. The actress even claimed that she was going to develop a new film for the character with DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran. However, the news that Wonder Woman 3 had been canceled would be followed by reports that Gadot"s claims were unfounded.
More reports about the DCU"s future would come out as time passed, such as the reveal that the entire cast of 2017"s Justice League would not reprise their roles in the new franchise.
