Aquaman"s Jason Momoa will soon become a DC movie veteran after recently being cast as Lobo in the DC Universe, a casting that he and many DC fans have been chasing for years. Momoa will debut as the DCU"s "Main Man" in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is slated to be released on June 26, 2026. As yet, no solo Lobo project has been confirmed, however.
If a solo Lobo project is on the cards for the DCU, Deadpool director David Leitch has thrown his hat into the ring to direct, replying to Momoa"s Lobo announcement on Instagram (via Collider), "let"s do a Lobo feature."
