The biggest problem about Avengers: Doomsday is that Doctor Doom honestly stands no chance against all of the MCU"s newest Avengers. Doctor Doom has only just been secured as the arch-villain of the Multiverse Saga after Marvel Studios moved away from Kang the Conqueror, changing the title of the fifth Avengers movie from Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to Avengers: Doomsday. Given he will also be the arch-villain of Avengers: Secret Wars, this at least allows Doom to establish himself as a significant threat across two movies instead of just one.
Outside a cameo or post-credits scene appearance, this MCU debut will not occur until May 1, 2026.
