SpongeBob SquarePants Is Infected With The Venom Symbiote In Freaky 3D Model Art Video

The titular main character of SpongeBob SquarePants is infected with the Venom symbiote in a freaky and detailed 3D model art video that shows off his detailed transformation. SpongeBob SquarePants" pop culture references are littered throughout the animated series, including some on-the-nose nods to media like Lord of the Flies and Dungeons & Dragons. The series" hundreds of episodes are filled with various nods to other properties or ideas that inspired particular episodes. However, none of these brands have had much direct crossover with the yellow sponge and his friends.
Now, Simeon Fiksa has created a highly-detailed model of SpongeBob SquarePants" protagonist infected with the Venom symbiote. The video shows Fiska turning a regular, yellow sponge into a half-SpongeBob, half-Venom creation, a reference to 2018"s Venom movie poster. This includes covering half the sponge with black glue, using pencil tops as teeth before painting over them, and even incorporating one of SpongeBob"s front teeth into the final product. At the end, the creation is submerged in water, and puffs of color surround it. Check out the full video of the creation below:
What The SpongeBob-Venom Hybrid Says About The Characters The Pair Crossing Over Is Aesthetically Possible Close Although SpongeBob and Venom are two very distinct characters, the 3D art shows just how aesthetically cool the pair would look when put together. The freaky detail reflects how Venom infects his host, the most common being Eddie Brock, and how a conscious pairing is formed between host and parasite. This is bolstered by both franchise"s longstanding popularity, with SpongeBob SquarePants permeating online culture in recent years thanks to memes, and Venom: The Last Dance ending Sony"s trilogy about the character.

Posts 5 As for the duo crossing over in an official capacity, it seems unlikely given the very different paths both characters are on. While SpongeBob SquarePants season 15 is continuing the series" tradition of having child-friendly storylines, Venom is built for a more adult audience, with movies for teenagers and some comic stories for a mature crowd. Because of the lack of intersection between both audiences, it doesn"t seem like an official crossover will ever come to fruition. However, this doesn"t take away from the very unique and well-meshing design of Fiska"s work.
Our Take On SpongeBob and Venom Crossing Over An Unlikely Yet Cool Pairing

Despite there being a small chance there"s ever a crossover between SpongeBob SquarePants and Venom, the concept of the symbiote in Bikini Bottom is an amusing one. His infecting SpongeBob would essentially turn the pair into superheroes on par with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, potentially pitting them against villains like Plankton or the Dirty Bubble. The idea sounds like an interesting parody the series could cover, pulling some inspiration from Fiska"s design in the process.
