After Josh Brolin passed on the role and other movie stars reportedly did the same, Kyle Chandler was cast to play the DCU"s Hal Jordan. He will co-lead the show opposite rising star Aaron Pierre as the Green Lantern John Stewart.
Before the duo was announced, James Gunn cast Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner in Superman. With three human Green Lanterns confirmed for the DCU so far, the shared universe might end up making one of them stand out from the rest.
