Every Marvel Villain Confirmed To Exist In The MCU"s New Spider-Man Universe
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has introduced a huge swathe of classic Marvel villains. The animated series expands Spider-Man’s mythos, focusing on Peter Parker’s early years. This new take on the web-slinger introduces a fresh lineup of villains, including classic adversaries and some lesser-known foes from the comics. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man promises to shake up established Spider-Man lore while introducing a host of villains, some of whom have never before appeared in the MCU.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man depicts Spidey’s formative years in a separate universe as the primary MCU timeline. By placing the series in a different continuity, the show is able to reinvent several characters despite being established in MCU movies. With this backdrop, Spider-Man will face a range of villains, from classic threats to new, unexpected enemies, offering fresh storytelling opportunities.
21 Lonnie Lincoln, AKA Tombstone First Appeared In Episode 1 “Amazing Fantasy” Close Lonnie Lincoln is initially portrayed as a high school athlete and one of Peter’s classmates, where the pair quickly become firm friends. However, after a string of rotten luck, Lonnie becomes embroiled in the 110th Street Gang. Though it hasn’t yet occurred in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, in the comics, Lonnie Lincoln eventually becomes the fearsome crime lord known as Tombstone. Unlike other villains who rely on technology or science, Tombstone represents the gritty, street-level threats Spider-Man must face. His story arc will likely
show his continued descent into crime.
20 The Symbiotes First Appeared In Episode 1 “Amazing Fantasy” Close While Venom is not yet confirmed, the symbiotes were established early in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man during the opening scenes. Doctor Strange is depicted battling a symbiote monster when Peter Parker heads to his new school. The alien parasites bond with hosts, amplifying their abilities while corrupting their minds. This could pave the way for
Spider-Man’s famous black suit saga or introduce the symbiotes Venom and Carnage. Their inclusion expands the series beyond Earth-based threats, bringing in cosmic horror elements.
19 Norman Osborn, AKA Green Goblin First Appeared In Episode 1 “Amazing Fantasy” Close Norman Osborn is one of the most complex and dangerous figures in Spider-Man’s history. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, he serves as Peter’s mentor, but his
darker side lurks beneath the surface. As the head of Oscorp, he conducts dangerous experiments that will presumably ultimately lead to his transformation into the Green Goblin. His dual role as both a father figure and a villain adds emotional weight to his conflict with Spider-Man, making their inevitable clash even more tragic and impactful within the MCU’s new Spider-Man universe.

Harry Osborn, Peter Parker’s best friend and Norman’s son, has always struggled with his father’s legacy. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Harry is a vain influencer who is rescued in episode 1 by Spider-Man. He then becomes part of the Spider-Man team, working alongside his father. In the comics, Harry eventually takes over his father’s mantle as the second Green Goblin. This sets up a compelling personal conflict between Peter and Harry, forcing Spider-Man to fight not just a villain but a friend
torn between loyalty and a path of destruction.
17 Carla Connors, AKA The Lizard First Appeared In Episode 2 “The Parker Luck"

A new spin on the Lizard, Carla Conners, is a gender-swapped version of Curt Connors. As an Oscorp scientist, she oversees Peter Parker’s work as one of Osborne’s interns. In the comics, Connors experiments with reptilian DNA, hoping to find breakthroughs in human regeneration. However, after testing the formula, he transforms into a monstrous, uncontrollable Lizard. Her role in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is fairly minor thus far, but the
arrival of reptiles in episode 8 foreshadows her transformation.
16 Bentley Wittman, AKA Wizard First Appeared In Episode 2 “The Parker Luck" Close Bentley Wittman is a brilliant but egotistical scientist working at Oscorp, known for his arrogance and disregard for ethics. In the comics, his technological genius allows him to create advanced weaponry and gadgets, eventually leading him to take on the identity of the Wizard. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Wittman appears as a grumpy, rude, and condescending scientist who oversees the Oscorp interns. Though a far cry from his villainous comic book counterpart, Wittman
remains one of the most dislikeable characters.
15 Butane, The Arsonist First Appeared In Episode 2 “The Parker Luck"

In Marvel Comics, Butane is transformed into a fiery humanoid and is trained as part of a superhuman army. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Butane is pesented as an arsonist, who has been hired to burn down a building as part of an insurance scam, using his high-tech flamethrowers. After he accidentally destroys the wrong building, Spider-Man defeats Butane, whereupon Spider-Man notices a logo on the weapons, which
he’ll later realize is Otto Octavius’s.
14 James Sanders, AKA Speed Demon First Appeared In Episode 3 “Secret Identity Crisis" Close James Sanders is a petty criminal, who in the comics is known as Speed Demon. He typically possesses the power of superhuman speed, enabling him to move and react with lightning-fast reflexes. His speed makes him a formidable foe in battle,
capable of outpacing Spider-Man and dodging his attacks with ease. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, James receives high-tech boots from Octavius that give him his powers, working alongside his partner Maria to enact a jewelry store robbery and battle Web-Head.
13 Maria Vasquez, AKA Tarantula First Appeared In Episode 3 “Secret Identity Crisis" Close Maia Vasquez is the criminal working with James Sanders who receives technology from Octavius. Maria dons gloves that bestow her with energy projection abilities, which she uses with devastating effect while fighting Spider-Man in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. In Marvel Comics, Maria Vasquez is
one of several characters known as Tarantula. While Maria Vasquez is more of a heroic figure, working for the Heroes For Hire, most Tarantulas have been villains.
12 Benjamin "Big" Donovan First Appeared In Episode 3 “Secret Identity Crisis" Close In Marvel Comics, Big Donovan is a classic enforcer-type villain, often found in the criminal underworld. He"s a physically imposing figure, using his size and strength to intimidate and overpower his enemies. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Big Donovan is
the hulking leader of the 110th Street Gang. He has a formidable stature that towers over his enemies. In the comics, Big Donovan works for Tombstone, suggesting there may be a shift in the power dynamic to come.

Mila Masaryk, known as Unicorn, is a high-tech villain who works as part of a Russian gang in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. After her crew are arrested, Mila turns to Otto Octavius, who
gives her a high-tech headpiece that fires lasers and predicts her opponents’ movements. This version is another gender-swapped villain, who in the comics is known as Milos. Milos is traditionally an Iron Man adversary, but subsequent versions have faced Spidey.

Mikhail Sytsevich, aka the Rhino, is one of Spider-Man"s most iconic foes. His Rhino suit gives him immense strength and nearly impenetrable armor. As a result, he’s a powerhouse in any battle, capable of plowing through walls or any obstacles in his way. Mikhail is introduced in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as part of the Russian gang. His huge frame already makes him an imposing figure, but
will likely receive his infamous Rhino armor from Octavius in the future.

As one of Spider-Man"s oldest foes, Dmitri Smerdyakov, the Chameleon, is a master of disguise and deception. He can mimic anyone’s appearance,
making him an elusive threat. His ability to infiltrate high-security areas or manipulate others makes him a dangerous adversary for Spider-Man. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Chameleon is another member of the Russian gang. After he’s sprung from prison by Unicorn, he appears with his famed mask during episode 8 to divulge some vital information to the 110th Street Gang.
8 Otto Octavius, AKA Doc Ock First Appeared In Episode 4 “Hitting the Big Time" Close Dr. Otto Octavius, a genius scientist, is destined to become one of Spider-Man’s greatest foes in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. In the comics, his mechanical tentacles, originally developed for industrial use, are fused to his body after a lab accident, transforming him into Doctor Octopus. His brilliance rivals Peter’s, making their battles as much intellectual as physical. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Octavius is revealed to be
the person selling advanced weapons (which he calls “enhancements”) to numerous villains, most notably Scorpion. He also has a complex history with Norman Osborne that is sure to influence his arc.
7 Carmilla Black, AKA Scorpion First Appeared In Episode 4 “Hitting the Big Time"

Carmilla Black is introduced as the second in command in the Scorpion gang. She memorably confronts Lonnie when he’s sent on his first mission by Big Donovan. In the comics, Carmilla Black is known as Scorpion, a martial artist with an immunity to toxins and a venomous touch. She later
adopts a tail like her predecessor, Mac Gargan. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, she mainly displays her fighting and leadership skills, though this could change as Gargan himself transforms into the fearsome Scorpion.
6 Henry Camp, AKA Bulldozer First Appeared In Episode 4 “Hitting the Big Time"

Henry Camp, aka Bulldozer, is a member of Marvel Comics’ Wrecking Crew, a group of villains known for their immense strength and destructive capabilities. Bulldozer’s unique ability lies in his enhanced durability and his helmet, which allows him to charge into battle like a living battering ram. Bulldozer appears in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as part of the 110th Street Gang, who seemingly
serves as Big Don’s primary support. He’s memorably annoyed when he isn’t name-checked by Chameleon.
5 Mac Gargan, AKA Scorpion First Appeared In Episode 5 “The Unicorn Unleashed!" Close Mac Gargan, the original Scorpion, is one of Spider-Man"s most persistent and vengeful enemies. Originally a private investigator, Gargan was transformed into the Scorpion by J. Jonah Jameson, making him a weapon of destruction. Over time, Gargan’s animosity towards Spider-Man grows into an obsession. In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Gargan is the leader of the Scorpions gang, who are
locked in a turf war with the 110th Street Gang. In episode 6, Gargan receives his infamous armor from Otto Octavius and becomes the Scorpion.
4 Vincent Patilio, AKA Leapfrog First Appeared In Episode 5 “The Unicorn Unleashed!"

Vincent Patilio is a lesser-known villain in Spider-Man’s rogues’ gallery, known for his high-tech, spring-powered suit that grants him enhanced jumping abilities. Often seen as a joke villain, his appearance in your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is fittingly obsequious. Vincent
appears as Doctor Octopus’s loyal assistant, who so far has exhibited little ability or technological enhancement. However, considering his role working for Octavius, this could change imminently.
3 Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross First Appeared In Episode 6” Duel with the Devil"

Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross is a military figure who has often clashed with Spider-Man, usually in pursuit of his goal to control the Hulk. While not a traditional supervillain, Ross"s authoritarian nature and willingness to use any means necessary to achieve his goals place him in direct opposition to many Marvel heroes. He appears very briefly in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, talking with Norman Osborne about the Sokovia Accords and Spider-Man. It’s hinted that Ross will return at some point to
assist Norman’s clandestine plans.
2 Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin Yet To Appear But Confirmed Close Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, is one of the most dangerous and influential criminal masterminds in the Marvel Universe. Though physically imposing, it’s his intellect, business acumen, and
vast network of criminal connections that make him a true threat. Kingpin operates behind the scenes, pulling the strings of various criminal enterprises. Though he has not yet appeared in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, he has been confirmed, and will be voiced by Vincent D’Onofrio, who was celebrated for his performance in Netflix’s Daredevil and has since been folded back into the MCU, including Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again.
