Zack Snyder has revealed the one Marvel that would convince him to join the MCU as a director. Known for his work on the DCEU for Warner Bros. and the infamous "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, Snyder's DC films certainly don't have the same tone by and large. However, there's apparently one story from the original Marvel Comics that Snyder would be keen to adapt to live-action.
Having directed Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League, Zack Snyder was originally positioned as a key creative force driving Warner Bros' DCEU, having planned out an entire grounded and intense story involving the DC Universe's heroes taking on the might of Darkseid and the forces of Apokolips. However, a series of unfortunate events and decisions led to Snyder's vision being cut short with a rebooted DCU in development. Snyder is now creating his own IP such as the upcoming Netflix movie Rebel Moon, though a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter saw Zack Snyder revealing the story that could get him into the MCU:

"If Marvel rang, he might think for a beat about a Daredevil and Elektra movie — maybe adapting Frank Miller’s Elektra Lives Again (“But that’s it,” he insists)"

Considering Snyder's evident love of Frank Miller's work such as the clear influences The Dark Knight Returns had on Ben Affleck's version of the Dark Knight, adapting Miller's work with Daredevil feels like a natural fit. Furthermore, Marvel Studios is currently filming Daredevil: Born Again, a new series with Charlie Cox set to return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk's Kingpin.

What's Elektra Lives Again About? Could It Fit In The MCU?

Following Frank MIller's iconic run on Daredevil which notably featured the death of Daredevil's love interest Elektra Natchios, Elektra Lives Again saw Matthew Murdock grappling with the loss to the point of having a psychological breakdown, questioning both his dreams and reality regarding whether or not Elektra was actually alive or dead. As such, it would certainly be a very introspective and character-driven feature that would also be quite dark, one that could perhaps fit considering the death of Elektra in Netflix's Defenders (played by Elodie Young).
It's also worth noting that Jennifer Garner's Elektra from the early 2000s movies produced by 20th Century Fox is rumored to appear in the MCU's upcoming Deadpool 3 thanks to the multiverse. To that end, it's somewhat hard to see where a Snyder-directed Elektra Lives Again movie would fit considering the Born Again series and the original Elektra likely having an MCU appearance in the near future. However, the idea itself is quite compelling for the MCU nevertheless.
