Superman Trailer Rumors Addressed By James Gunn, After Studio Interference Question: "My Notes Are A Lot More Specific"

After claims made by Dan Marcus that he"d heard Warner Bros. Discovery was supposedly not happy with some of the cuts for the Superman trailer, and there had been instructions to "Make it better," Gunn addressed the comments on Threads. Gunn clarified that it is only DC Studios that is involved with the makings of the Superman trailer, sharing his experience with editing his trailers for Marvel Studios, as he stated the following:

Well sort of. But when he says “studio” that’s solely me, as the only studio involved in cutting or anything to do with the trailer is DC Studios i.e. me & Peter (& I’m the creatively demanding one). This is the exact same rigorous process I’ve gone through cutting every Guardians trailer, pushing the marketing folks as hard as I can, cutting & recutting until I think we have something worthy of the film itself. All that said, my notes are a lot more specific than “make it better.”
