The season is still in the early days of production, but according to Lorey, progress even seems to be moving along at a quick pace.
The studio clearly had confidence that season 1 would do well, which it did with a 95% from critics and an 81% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. Considering that Creature Commandos is the first official project in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s revamped DC Universe, it’s an impressive feat that it was renewed for a second season so quickly. The DCU is only just beginning, yet it seems like the studio is already nailing their television model.
