A terrific piece of Star Trek fan art imagines the reunion between Admiral Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and Captain Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) that didn't happen in Star Trek: Picard season 3. The potential Janeway always saw in Seven was fulfilled in Picard season 3 as the former Borg drone rose from First Officer of the USS Titan-A to become the Captain of the newly christened USS Enterprise-G. It's a moment Admiral Janeway should have been a part of but, sadly, it wasn't meant to be.Twitter user @TheDykeRanger shared her rendition of what Admiral Janeway meeting up with the newly minted Captain Seven would have looked like. It's a moment that tugs at the heartstrings, especially since Kate Mulgrew's Janeway and Jeri Ryan's Seven haven't shared the screen since Star Trek: Voyager ended in 2001.
