Yoda Admits the Jedi Should Never Have Been Based on Coruscant

Warning: spoilers for Star Wars: Yoda #5!As one of the Star Wars franchise’s most popular characters and most powerful Jedi, Yoda has a connection with the Force that rivals almost any other Force-user in the Galaxy Far, Far Away. Time and again, fans have seen the Grandmaster’s wisdom and patience guide him through the darkest of times, even when his fellow Jedi don’t share his luck. And in his wisdom, Yoda recognized the one mistake that ultimately lead to the Jedi Council’s ultimate downfall.
As a Jedi, there is nothing more important that fostering a strong connection with the Force, even among the chaos that surrounds the Jedi Council on Coruscant. But in Jody Houser and Luke Ross' Star Wars: Yoda #5, Yoda admits that staying on Coruscant for too long can be detrimental to a Force-user’s connection. And if this sentiment had been more widely shared, the rise of Palpatine might have been prevented.
