Star Wars Already Showed How Boba Fett Can Be More Successful Than Jabba

After Jabba the Hutt was killed and his position as the head of organized crime on Tatooine was made available, Boba Fett didn’t take long to fill that power vacuum, and Star Wars already showed how the fan-favorite bounty hunter can actually be more successful than his predecessor.
Jabba the Hutt was introduced to fans in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope as he was harassing Han Solo to repay a debt the smuggler owed him. From there, Jabba became an established background villain who remained a constant stresser for Han, as the reluctant hero always had to look over his shoulder for fear of one of Jabba’s bounty hunters coming to collect. However, those anxieties would finally be put to rest after Han Solo was captured by Jabba’s best bounty hunter, Boba Fett, and then subsequently rescued by his friends and allies, Luke, Leia, Chewie, and Lando. Upon Han’s rescue, Leia murdered Jabba the Hutt while Han seemingly killed Boba Fett, thereby eliminating this particular crime family from the galaxy forever. At least, until the events of The Book of Boba Fett, that is, where it is revealed that Boba Fett survived. In the series, Boba Fett successfully moved into Jabba the Hutt’s territory and is currently ruling as Tatooine’s new supreme authority, and with one key alliance that Boba made in the show, he can do it better than Jabba ever could.
