Agatha All Along Passes 4 Avengers As Marvel Fans Push Rotten Tomatoes Score Higher

Agatha All Along"s Rotten Tomatoes score has been slowly rising since its premiere, as fans have their say on the most recent MCU TV show. When looking at the upcoming MCU TV shows after X-Men "97, Agatha All Along received a mixed perception. Some were excited about the continuation of WandaVision"s story, while others felt it was unnecessary to the overarching story of the MCU. However, by the time of Agatha All Along episode 2"s ending, it seems the show has won audiences over. While not the best-ranked MCU TV show, the response has been more positive than first thought.
This upturn in positive reception is notable via Agatha All Along"s Rotten Tomatoes score. Upon the show"s debut, Rotten Tomatoes indicated that 76% of audiences who had reviewed the show gave it a positive rating. Since then, the audience approval rating has increased slowly to 81%, surpassing several MCU properties. Movies like Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Captain Marvel were already bettered by Agatha All Along"s initial 76% score, with the improved 81% placing it above four more Avengers-adjacent movies, from Black Panther to Thor: Love and Thunder.
Agatha All Along"s critic score has also improved on Rotten Tomatoes, rising to 80% from its initial 74%.
What Agatha's Rising Rotten Tomatoes Score Means For The MCU Offbeat Projects May Still Have A Place In The MCU Close Regarding what this 81% score means for the MCU overall, it could prove that shows like Agatha All Along have a place in the franchise after all. Given that the MCU has had a much less consistent output of quality since Avengers: Endgame, changes have been made to the output of upcoming MCU movies and TV shows. More emphasis is reportedly being put on Marvel"s bigger franchises, yet Agatha All Along may prove this is not necessary. While commercial success is a different barometer, the critical reception of the show from professionals and audiences alike proves its worth.

As evident, Agatha All Along is resonating with audiences more than some of the so-called biggest franchises in the MCU. The improved 81% score has seen Agatha All Along"s audience rating rank higher than the likes of Black Panther, Iron Man 3, and two of the franchise"s Thor movies. If this means anything, it is that audiences still desire different, original, unique stories that move away from the usual mold of MCU stories. Agatha All Along most certainly fits that category, and the result is clearly a desirable one for audiences.
Our Take On Agatha's Rotten Tomatoes Score Changes Obscure Marvel Properties Should Be Given A Chance Custom image by Nicolas Ayala I will admit that I was one of the people who was less enthused about Agatha All Along upon its announcement. I loved Kathryn Hahn in WandaVision and still think the show ranks among the best Disney+ MCU efforts, but I did share the sentiment that an Agatha Harkness show felt unnecessary. However, after the first two episodes of the show, I was thrilled to be proven wrong. I was always willing to give the show a chance despite my lack of anticipation, and the uptick in Agatha All Along"s Rotten Tomatoes score proves that, thankfully, others were too.
Related Agatha All Along Episode 1 & 2 Easter Eggs And Marvel References Agatha All Along has premiered its first two episodes on Disney+, and both are full of exciting Easter eggs, Marvel references, and WandaVision ties.
After all, more obscure Marvel properties are what allow this franchise to differentiate itself. Agatha All Along brings a different flavor to the MCU, one full of magic, wonder, silliness, and camp, rendering it entirely different from some of the Marvel properties it has surpassed on Rotten Tomatoes, like Iron Man 3 and Eternals. In light of a franchise seemingly moving away from what can be considered unique, Agatha All Along resonating with audiences may just prove that I, and many others, should trust Marvel to take us on a surprisingly enjoyable journey down the Witches" Road.
