Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is a new animated DC Universe series featuring the titular character. Spun off from the hit Harley Quinn television series, the show is set to follow Kite Man and his girlfriend, Golden Glider, as they purchase and run a bar for supervillains. Matt Oberg will reprise the titular role from Harley Quinn, and the series will soon launch on Max. With raunchy humor and explicit violence, this adult animated series promises to continue Harley Quinn's legacy with vile humor and genuine heart.
Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is the final DC animated show in the franchise's current state. With the launch of the new DC Universe, James Gunn and Peter Safran plan to tie all of the studio’s animation with live-action features and stories, beginning with Creature Commandos in December 2024. While series like Kite Man can be launched as part of the Elseworlds spinoff side of the DCU, it's unclear how many shows and movies will be able to go down this path at one time, putting Kite Man: Hell Yeah! in a fascinating place in DC's timeline as it predates what is to come.
