As was seen in the previous Creature Commandos episode 6, Task Force M managed to reassemble in their mission to kill Princess Rostovic, having been ordered to do so by Amanda Waller after she was shown Circe"s vision of the future where the Pokolistan monarch triggers WWIII and a massive global takeover. Creature Commandos episode 7 reveals Nina Mazursky"s origins, confirming she was born with her lungs outside her body and full of liquid, though her scientist father Edward built a temporary device to keep her alive.
Eric Frankenstein is shown taking a taxi to Castle Rostovic to reunite with The Bride, while Nina wonders if Task Force M is doing the wrong thing by trying to kill Princess Ilana.
Task Force M discovers security footage of Clayface with the princess days earlier.
Eric arrives and is shot multiple times by The Bride (and subsequently spit on).
Nina"s mother Lily leaves due to what she sees as a poor quality of life for Nina. Later, Edward transforms Nina"s DNA, turning her into "The Mermaid" with fins and gills so she requires water to breathe.
Task Force M finds an entry point to the castle courtyard, while Ilana refuses to cower and goes for her morning swim.
Weasel doesn’t want to kill Princess, as she had been nice to him and reminds him of the girl he tried to save.
Nina attends school but is ostracized and bullied, resulting in her running away from home to live in the sewers and rivers.
Flag wakes up from his coma, and tells Amanda Waller she was wrong about the Princess. This motivates Waller and John Economous to investigate and discover the truth about McPherson and Clayface, leading them to believe that Circe was lying.
Task Force M convinces Nina to kill the Princess from underwater during her swim.
Nina gets documented in Star City, and a public hunt begins for The Mermaid"s capture. When she"s caught, Edward tries pushing through the crowd to get to Nina and is shot by the police.
Weasel tries to save the Princess, alerting her to Nina"s presence underwater. After a struggle, the Princess kills Nina right before Waller calls to cancel the hit.
The Bride meets with Illana in the aftermath, understanding that Circe was telling the truth but that Ilana had used Clayface to make the vision seem less credible, as she indeed wants to start WWIII.
The Bride kills the Princess as vengeance for Nina"s death before she leaves Pokolistan with Doctor Phosphorus and Weasel.
John Economos shows Bride her new team: Doctor Phosphorus, She-Bat, what looks to be either Aten or Khalis, Weasel, an upgraded G.I. Robot, and King Shark.
The post-credits scene for Creature Commandos confirms that Eric Frankenstein still lives.

Creature Commandos Episode 7 Ending Explained Why The Bride Killed Princess Rostovic Close Thanks to the security footage showing Clayface with Rostovic days earlier which Task Force M found during their initial break-in, The Bride chooses to go with her gut and strong belief that Circe"s vision was indeed true and that Illana really does intend to start the next World War. Having hired Clayface to pose as Professor Mcpherson to make her confirmation of the vision less credible, Illana had hoped to waylay all suspicion on her and her plans for her nation until it was far too late. That being said, that was not the biggest reason why The Bride decided to pull the trigger and put a bullet in the princess" head.
