Daredevil: Born Again set reveals make the Marvel Cinematic Universe's show's darkest theory a lot more likely, and it would mean a huge departure from the original Netflix series. Daredevil ran for three seasons on Netflix before the show and the rest of the series in The Defenders Saga were ultimately canceled by the streamer after the creation of Disney+. Following a period of time in contract where Marvel could not use the characters from the Netflix series, Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have returned to the MCU as Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively.
Now, Cox will once again lead his own project as Matt Murdock, with Daredevil: Born Again's story being overhauled in an attempt to make the series closer to the tone and action of the original Netflix show. After the series' showrunners were replaced by The Punisher's Dario Scardapane, it was revealed that Bullseye actor Wilson Bethel, as well as Foggy Nelson star Elden Henson and Karen Page actress Deborah Ann Woll, joined Daredevil: Born Again's cast. The returning cast members pointed to a long-running Daredevil: Born Again theory being true, and new set reveals have made it even more likely.

Daredevil: Born Again Set Photos & Videos Hint That Bullseye Kills Foggy And Karen Karen And Foggy Have Long Been Rumored To Die In Daredevil: Born Again Before Daredevil: Born Again went through its creative overhaul, the series was rumored to explain why Henson and Woll would not be back as Foggy and Karen, respectively, with a surprisingly dark twist. The characters were said to be killed off-screen. With Daredevil: Born Again's creative changes and the return of the actors from the original Netflix series, fans hoped there was no truth to the rumor and that the trio behind Nelson, Murdock and Page would stick together. However, Daredevil: Born Again set photos and videos tease Bullseye killing Karen and Foggy, or at least one of them.
In a recent batch of reveals from the set of Daredevil: Born Again, Bethel's Bullseye is seen going up to Josie's — the trio's favorite bar from Netflix's Daredevil — and shooting in the direction Foggy and Karen were standing before getting tackled by Daredevil. Given how Bullseye's story ended in Daredevil season 3, it would make sense for the villain to go after both Murdock and Fisk's loved ones. Photos from the series' set have shown Foggy lying bloody on the floor and Karen Page actress Woll with blood on her face, indicating the duo's possible dark fate.
How Daredevil Could Move On From Foggy And Karen’s Deaths In Daredevil: Born Again Previous Daredevil: Born Again Reveals Explain That When Daredevil: Born Again's creative overhaul was announced, it was revealed that the series would be keeping some of the episodes that had been shot for the show. Due to that, it seems like Daredevil: Born Again has a plan to make Matt move on. The character's romantic link to Karen will be replaced by Matt's new girlfriend, Margarita Levieva's Heather Glenn, while he starts a new law firm with Nikki James' Kirsten McDuffie. However, as Foggy has already had a fake-out death in the comics, perhaps there is still hope for his and Karen's fates in Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again After Charlie Cox's cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again, composed of 18 episodes, serves as the spiritual successor to Netflix's three-season Daredevil series and adapts its characters to the MCU's main continuity while establishing a new beginning for the superhero lawyer.
