13 Marvel's New Scarlet Witch Novel Introduces A New Von Doom Close Released in August, a new novel by Marvel, titled "What If... Wanda Maximoff and Peter Parker Were Siblings?: A Scarlet Witch Story," features a dramatic twist that could alter Doctor Doom's own story in the MCU. In the novel, SHIELD agents Mary and Richard Parker adopted the young Wanda Maximoff while on a mission in Latveria, while her brother, Pietro, was adopted by Doctor Doom.
