Robert Pattinson"s Batman and David Corenswet"s Superman cross universes as the ideal Dark Knight and Man of Steel crossover in stunning DC Universe artwork. A new era for the DC brand is on its way as multiple DC Universe Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" movies and TV shows are in various stages of development. While Corenswet"s Superman movie has finished filming and is on track for its 2025 release, the upcoming Batman reboot in James Gunn"s DC Universe is still far away.
While casting is nowhere near happening on The Brave and The Bold movie anytime soon, it is not stopping DC fans from pitching their own ideas of what type of Bruce Wayne should be side-by-side with Corenswet"s Clark Kent. One concept many are showing interest in is the idea of having Corenswet"s new version of Superman share the screen with Pattinson"s Batman from Matt Reeves" universe.

In the former franchise, Affleck"s Batman had already been operating long before Cavill"s Superman became active in 2013"s Man of Steel.
@davi_a86 also gave a depiction of Pattinson and Corenswet"s Batman/Superman team-up through comic art. In addition to having them in their super-suits, @davi_a86 shared a version of Corenswet and Pattinson as Clark and Bruce, respectively, while also giving a retro style to their team-up.
What The DC Movie Crossover Art Means Close Seeing fans pitch the idea of Pattinson and Corenswet"s respective DC heroes being brought together shows that this is an iteration of the beloved duo that many are interested in, despite the current separation between the properties. This is even coming before Gunn"s Superman movie has been released, which says a lot about the excitement that exists in the DC Universe audience. Even though they may not exist in the same world, there is nothing stopping DC Studios from having Corenswet"s Superman and Pattinson"s Batman meet through a multiverse crossover story in the future.
Obviously, on the other end, there are those that definitely prefer that Pattinson"s Batman is set in his own universe and not connected to a larger DC franchise. With Gunn"s DC Universe set to have a version of Bruce who will already have an established Bat-Family, it gives the audiences two distinct Batmen in live-action at the same time.

It"s easy to see why there are those who wish that Gunn"s DC Universe would have had Corenswet"s Superman and Pattinson"s Batman in the same franchise, as this would be a great line-up by having the two heroes depicted in their early days, in comparison to the DCEU movie timeline"s approach. Hopefully, whatever direction The Brave and The Bold movie will lead to a solid dynamic with the new Superman. But for now, time will tell who will actually be the Batman to Corenswet"s Superman in the DC Universe.
