DC Announces Robin"s Twisted Replacement In The Darkest Way Imaginable

Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for The Penguin episode 3.The Penguin has created the perfect dark story for Robin"s replacement in the world of The Batman. Robert Pattinson"s Bruce Wayne is still young, which made him not having a Robin in The Batman make sense. However, there might not be a sidekick in the Dark Knight"s future, or at least Robin will not play a role in The Batman - Part II"s story. The reason for that is DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has debunked a rumor that Dick Grayson would appear in The Batman"s sequel.
While The Batman - Part II does not come around, the Gotham City that was crafted by director Matt Reeves in The Batman is being expanded. HBO"s The Penguin is doing a great job of getting down to the streets of Gotham and revealing the power games that go on unnoticed by Batman. Amid the city"s dark corners is a story that shows how The Batman"s world features a dark, twisted version of Robin, only he has no relation to the Dark Knight, but plays a key role in The Penguin"s cast.
The Penguin Sets Up A New Take On DC's Robin Victor Aguilar Has A Robin Origin Story Close Victor Aguilar is one of the most important characters in The Penguin. While he is not destined to become Robin, Aguilar does have a very similar origin story as one of Batman"s sidekicks. Like Jason Todd in DC Comics, Aguilar was trying to steal the wheels of a car when he was recruited by the vehicle"s owner. However, unlike Jason, Aguilar was brought into the world of crime by Colin Farrell"s Penguin, not called to become Robin by Batman.
