Marvel Studios Surprise Announcement: Live Video Revealing Next Avengers Movie Cast

Marvel Studios is announcing the Avengers: Doomsday cast in a slow-burn live-stream reveal video.
Ever since Avengers 5 became Doomsday with the casting of Robert Downey, Jr. as Doctor Doom, speculation has been rampant of who will make up Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to take on this new, multiversal threat. Now, Marvel Studios is revealing the cast for the first of the two-part MCU team-up from directors Joe & Anthony Russo.
In a video live-streamed on Marvel’s YouTube and social media accounts, the cast is being slowly revealed in approximate 15 minute increments as a camera pans along a row of cast chairs. There are almost 2 million fans tuned into the broadcast at the moment.
So far, the confirmed cast of Avengers: Doomsday includes:
  • Chris Hemsworth (Thor)
  • Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman)
  • Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Captain America)
  • Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier)
  • Letitia Wright (Shuri/Black Panther)
  • Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man)

Close A tweet from Marvel Entertainment confirmed that this reveal is for Avengers: Doomsday, at the same time revealing that the movie has gone into production. This also includes a slightly altered logo for the movie with a less embossed deisgn and tempered green tone.
Hemsworth was last seen in Thor: Love & Thunder, which promised the God of Thunder’s return. Kirby will make her MCU debut in this summer’s Fantastic Four. Mackie and Stan were both last seen in Captain America: Brave New World, with Bucky heading up Thunderbolts* in May. Wright"s Shuri took on the mantle of Black Panther in Wakanda Forever.
