The DCU"s First Batman Appearance Is The Perfect Excuse To Give Alan Ritchson His Dream DC Role Recast

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Creature Commandos season 1.
The DCU just provided the first glimpse of their Batman, and it perfectly sets up a dream casting for the character with Alan Ritchson. While the DCU is building towards a new version of the Justice League, there are still several major players who have yet to be cast, or at the very least, they have yet to be announced. Among them, potentially the most highly anticipated is Batman. While the character has been confirmed to star in an upcoming movie titled The Brave and the Bold, very little about the project has been announced, which James Gunn has stated has been due to the story still lacking the right script to progress production.
However, while DC Studios remains tight-lipped and careful in their slow approach, one actor has spoken out about his desire to play the role. Alan Ritchson, an actor who is no stranger to DC projects and playing various superheroes, could step up to play the part, and after the first look at the hero in the DCU, it feels more possible than ever. But, there are still many steps between now and the official live-action introduction of the DCU"s Batman down the road.
The DC Universe Just Revealed Its Batman Batman Is Officially In The DCU Close While the role has yet to be cast, and the Batman movie is still in the earliest stages of production, James Gunn has dropped the first official appearance of Batman in the animated series, Creature Commandos. Obviously, this does not necessarily mean they have an actor in mind, and with only two brief glimpses, with the hero being dead in a vision that Circe reveals to Amanda Waller, and a flashback from Doctor Phosphorus, there is still a lot of flexibility in casting and shaping the character.
