Please DC, Make The DCU Batman Different To Ben Affleck"s Bruce Wayne In This 1 Key Way

Summary
  • An older Batman would be ideal for the DCU due to the focus on Bat-Family dynamics & continuity.
  • The DCU Batman should exhibit a warmer, fatherly side alongside his vigilante, heroic nature.
  • Details from The Brave and the Bold movie align closely with the comics' Batman.
While Ben Affleck did a great job as Batman in the old DCEU, I think the new DC Universe can bring an even better version of Batman to life by making a key change to how the character is portrayed. Despite never getting a solo film due to complex behind-the-scenes issues, Affleck still managed to deliver mostly gripping performances as Batman in the DCEU. His last turn in the role in The Flash cemented Affleck as one of the finest live-action Batman actors.
The Flash might have had its problems, but I don't think any of the movie's issues were related to its multiple Batmen. In fact, the different versions of Batman were handled pretty well in different ways, which makes me all the more excited for the DCU's The Brave and the Bold — Batman's reboot movie. After all, The Flash director Andy Muschietti has been confirmed to helm the DCU's Batman film, and if the director were to make a simple change to Batman, then I think we could finally have the ideal live-action version of the character.
