By including a scene or entire sequence that depicts Doom"s rivalry with The Fantastic Four via RDJ and Evans" versions, the inclusion of the MCU"s iteration of the team will instantly be justified. Setting up the long-standing rivalry between the two Marvel entities will only make the character arcs of Pedro Pascal"s Reed Richard, Vanessa Kirby"s Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn"s Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach"s Ben Grimm all the better. Beyond that, Evans’ return in a smaller role will not overshadow members of the MCU’s Avengers: Doomsday team, like Anthony Mackie’s Captain America or any other heroes.
