Vin Diesel Addresses MCU Future And Hints That Marvel Is Developing A Movie About Groot Going Home: "Disney Wants Their Planet X!"

Groot actor Vin Diesel suggests a Guardians of the Galaxy spinoff centered on his MCU hero is possible in the future. Vin Diesel has voiced two versions of Groot in the MCU, one in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and the other in the rest of the trilogy, as well as in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Diesel"s second Groot also starred in his own series of shorts on Disney+, I Am Groot.
On his Instagram page, Vin Diesel announced his projects for 2025, among which stand out Fast X2, a movie adaptation of Rock"em Sock"em, and new installments in the xXx, Riddick, and The Last Witch Hunter franchises. Notably, Diesel mentions a Groot solo movie, as well. Diesel states, "Disney wants their Planet X! Which some say is Marvel"s most anticipated movie, haha.
