Batman: The Animated Series Art Makes Me Want An Nightwing Spinoff Almost 30 Years Later

I could never get enough of Batman: The Animated Series and some incredible art makes me realize that I really want a Nightwing spin-off of the best DC animated series of all time. Batman: The Animated Series has endured for over three decades, becoming one of the best adaptations of the character and greatly influencing the comics and other media that came after it. Since first premiering in 1992, it still has yet to be topped.
One of the best parts about the Batman mythos is the various Robins he has taken under his wing over the course of his crime-fighting career. Of course, Dick Grayson was the first one to become Robin, is essentially an adopted son of Bruce Wayne, and eventually goes out on his own and becomes the hero Nightwing. Artist malenjoyer shared recent fan art on X showing Nightwing hanging out with another Robin, desperately making me wish there was another continuation of Batman: The Animated Series.
What The Batman: The Animated Series Art Means One of the more under-the-radar Robins for Batman is Tim Drake. Dick Grayson and Jason Todd get most of the spotlight for different reasons, while Damien Wayne is the biological son of Bruce Wayne. In fact, Batman: The Animated Series didn"t even feature Jason Todd in any capacity, having Tim Drake aligned more with Jason Todd"s backstory in a way. Because of this, Dick and Tim have more interactions throughout the series and the continuation in The New Batman Adventures.
