As Gunn is getting ready to present Creature Commandos at this year"s New York Comic Con event, the filmmaker was asked by a fan on Threads, "Are we getting 3 dcu films every year in Chapter 1 or not?" It didn"t take long for Gunn to shut down any speculation on multiple DC Universe film releases on a yearly basis for Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters," as he stated the following:

No way. That was never even a consideration.
