Following Netflix's Daredevil TV show, Matt Murdock is getting another chance to lead an MCU TV show as he is set to star in Daredevil: Born Again for Disney+ and Marvel Studios. While it won't serve as Daredevil season 4, Daredevil: Born Again will continue the adventures of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen as part of Phase 5.
Daredevil: Born Again will see Bernthal's Punisher return to screens, after being last seen in his own Netflix show that got canceled after two seasons. As the world speculates on how Frank Castle will factor into the series, graphic artist Arkin Tyagi shared artwork of Bernthal's MCU character donning a more comic-accurate suit.
Tyagi shared how they would love to see a "classic back to basics Punisher in the MCU," stating that he used "90's anime aesthetic" when designing a more old-school look for Bernthal. Frank's original Punisher costume came to life at the end of Daredevil season 2, serving as a setup for Bernthal's spinoff show.
