Jason Momoa might be getting cast as Lobo in James Gunn's
DC Universe, and the short-lived Superman TV show
Krypton has already shown that character's potential in live-action. While the DCEU will properly be finished at the end of this year, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom may not be the final time that Momoa takes part in the comic book genre. Despite most of the Justice League actors not coming back for the new continuity, Momoa is reportedly being eyed for a new role in Gunn and Peter Safran's franchise, which already has multiple DC Universe movies and TV shows in the makings.
After months of speculation about what his mystery role may be in the DC Universe while leading up to the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, recent reports are claiming that Momoa is being looked at to play the DC alien bounty hunter, Lobo. While he has mostly been depicted in animated DC movies and shows, Lobo has one live-action incarnation that many may have missed as it was only for a short period of time. But with Momoa's potential Lobo future, this is a good time to revisit the character's live-action debut on television.
