What The White Owl Ahsoka Sees Is & What It Means
This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.Summary
- The white bird seen at the end of Ahsoka Tano's season 1 finale is likely Morai, a convor with a mysterious connection to the Mortis Force-wielders.
- Morai has appeared in key moments in Ahsoka's story, such as flying above Darth Vader and leading Ezra Bridger to find Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds.
- Morai's connection to the Daughter is ambiguous, but it is likely that Morai is linked to Ahsoka herself due to the Daughter transferring her Force essence into Ahsoka.
A mysterious white bird appears towards the end of the
Ahsoka season 1 finale, but this seemingly innocuous creature has a long history with Ahsoka Tano throughout her Star Wars appearances. Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi traveled to a mysterious realm known as Mortis in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and one of its three near-omnipotent Force-wielders may have a connection to the bird seen in Ahsoka. This same bird appeared in the series finale of The Clone Wars and several Ahsoka-centric episodes of Star Wars Rebels.
The three Force-wielders of Mortis are known as the Father, the Daughter, and the Son. While most viewers will, understandably, mistake them for representing the “light side,” dark side, and “balanced” Force, they more closely align to the concepts of the Cosmic Force (Father), Living Force (Daughter), and the Dark Side of the Force (Son). The bird shown at the end of Ahsoka is most likely a specific convor with a mysterious connection to one of the Mortis Force-wielders.
