10 Best Batman Movie Fight Scenes

Batman has been adapted to the big screen various times, and while not all of his movies have been well-received by critics and viewers, something that they all have are great fight scenes, and here are some of the best. As one of the most popular and beloved comic characters, Batman and company have been adapted to all types of media for decades, and his history on the big screen has been marked by various ups and downs. Batman’s big screen debut happened back in the 1940s with two serial movies, followed by an adaptation of the 1960s Batman TV series in 1966, starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
The Caped Crusader found success in 1989 thanks to Tim Burton’s Batman, with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne and Jack Nicholson as the Joker, which was followed by a sequel in 1992 titled Batman Returns. The Dark Knight went through a massive tone shift in his following adventures, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, before getting another chance in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, released between 2005 and 2012. After making his DCEU debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and joining other superheroes in Justice League, Batman returned as part of a different universe in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, while Ben Affleck’s version will return in The Flash. Every version of Batman has stood out for different reasons, but they all had some memorable fight scenes, and here are 10 of the Caped Crusader's best fights on the big screen.
10 Batman’s “I’m Batman” Fight Although Tim Burton’s Batman included flashbacks to the deaths of Martha and Thomas Wayne, it didn’t explore Bruce’s training and transformation into a vigilante, jumping straight to Batman already patrolling the streets of Gotham. In one of his patrols, he heard a woman screaming after she and her family had been mugged, so he went after the two thugs responsible. Batman’s entrance is quite fitting with the character as he’s seen landing behind the thugs in the shadows and later appearing in front of them, with the criminals shooting him repeatedly. Batman got back up, much to the surprise of the thugs, who by then were too shocked and scared to react. With the use of some classic gadgets, Batman injured one of the thugs while the other one ran away in fear, but most importantly, he made sure that they would spread the word of his presence, with Batman introducing himself with the iconic “I am Batman” line.
