Superman & Lois Can"t Last Forever, No Matter How Good Season 4 Is

Although Superman & Lois has been renewed for a fourth season on the CW, it seems the end may be in sight for the popular television series. Starring Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as his wife Lois Lane, Superman & Lois is the last remaining DC show on the CW after the end of the Arrowverse with the final season of The Flash and the recent cancelation of Gotham Knights after just one season. Regardless, the show's season 4 renewal may still be signaling that the end is near.
It's recently been confirmed that Superman & Lois season 4 is indeed happening. However, it's not without some significant changes. The upcoming season will only have 10 episodes. While the first two seasons of Superman & Lois had 15 episodes each, the current season 3 will end with its 13th episode, "What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger." Additionally, it's also been reported that Superman & Lois season 4 will have a reduced budget. That said, the biggest sign that the end is coming for the DC show has nothing to do with the show itself.
