Andor Season 2 Reveals New Footage And Updates

Star Wars Celebration 2023 kicks off the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase with a special look at Andor season 2 revealed by members of the cast and director Tony Gilroy. Set to release in late Summer of 2024, exclusive new footage for Andor season 2 was revealed, featuring several new shots of the forming Rebellion as well as the Imperial Security Bureau seeking to hunt them down. A key line from the teaser is "Everyone has their own Rebellion" which will likely serve as a central theme for the second and culminating season of Andor.
The Acolyte Reveals Exciting New Footage With Large Jedi Roster

The cast of The Acolyte is brought up next along with director Leslye Headland who describes the series as Frozen meets Kill Bill. Set during the High Republic era, new footage for The Acolyte was released showcasing Lee Jung-Jaw as a Jedi master as well as Dafne Keen who looks to be a Sith assassin. Carrie Anne Moss fights Amandla Stenberg before the teaser ends with 10-12 Jedi igniting their lightsabers, some of which have yellow blades. It was also revealed that the most recent Chewbacca actor Joonas Suotamo will also star as a new Wookiee Jedi.
The Mandalorian Season 3 And Grand Admiral Thrawn Tease

Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and Rick Famuiywa and more of the cast take the stage for The Mandalorian season 3 which is nearing its end with only two episodes left to release on Disney+. After some time talking about what's been seen thus far and a video message from Pedro Pascal, attendees were given an exclusive look at The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7 which is set to release on April 12th. The preview itself features the reveal of an Imperial Shadow Council with direct connections to Grand Admiral Thrawn, plans to resurrect Emperor Palpatine, as well as Moff Gideon and Mandalorian super commandos.
