Titans Cameo Proves DC Really Didn"t Care About Shazam 2

A new cameo in HBO's Titans series proves just how little DC Studios cared about Shazam! Fury of the Gods in comparison to other movies and their heroes. As seen in Titans season 4, Garfield Logan aka Beat Boy finally figured out how to access his full power as a protector of the Red, including his ability to travel the multiverse. While this results in several cameos across several DC television shows and movies, one appearance in particular is quite telling.
Titans season 4, episode 9 is entitled "Dude, Where's My Gar". Co-written by Beast Boy actor Ryan Potter, Garfield Logan receives guidance from Freedom Beast who's a fellow protector of the Red, the supernatural force that connects all animal life in every version of the DC Universe. Beast Boy eventually learns how to travel the multiverse, leading to several DC cameos such as the CW's Stargirl and the Flash, Swamp Thing, comic book legend Grant Morrison, and even the version of Beast Boy from the Teen Titans Go! animated series. However, a cameo from Shazam feels rather out of place considering how Titans typically handles bigger superhero appearances.
