MCU"s Vibranium Will Always Be More Important Than Wolverine"s Adamantium
While rumors persist that the X-Men franchise's adamantium will soon debut in the MCU due to the current vibranium arms race seen in
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the highly durable metal still can't compete with Wakanda's chief resource. Best known as the nearly-indestructible metal used to cover Wolverine's bones and claws during his time with the Weapon X program, adamantium may become highly coveted by rival nations unable to get their hands on vibranium. However, the impressive fictional metal still doesn't hold a candle to the capabilities of vibranium found in both Wakanda and Talokan.
After vibranium was confirmed in Wakanda Forever as a major resource sought after by several nations in the MCU (including the US), there have been rumors that the upcoming Captain America: New World Order will feature adamantium as a powerful replacement metal. A compound created by the US Government in the original comics, it's been rumored that the MCU's adamantium will instead be sourced from Tiamut, the Celestial-turned-island seen at the end of Eternals. Regardless, it stands to reason that vibranium will still be the superior metal.
