Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, gives an exciting filming update on
Daredevil: Born Again. Matt Murdock's story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is only just getting started after his 2021 return. Netflix's Daredevil isn't getting resurrected for season 4, but rather a sequel series. Titled Daredevil: Born Again, it will continue the adventures of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
One of the returning stars in D'Onofrio, who portrays Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin in the MCU. On Twitter, D'Onofrio recently shared a positive update about the filming of Daredevil: Born Again season 1.
Filming officially began in early March in New York, which is where the first Daredevil show was filmed. At the moment, Daredevil: Born Again is expected to be shooting until November.
Everything We Know About Daredevil: Born Again
Daredevil: Born Again will be partially set up through the upcoming Hawkeye spinoff, Echo. D'Onofrio and Charlie Cox are both set to appear in Echo before they go on to headline Daredevil: Born Again. While Vanessa Fisk will be back for this show, Sandrine Holt is taking over for Ayelet Zurer.
The Disney+ drama will also see the return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. However, Daredevil: Born Again is leaving out two key Netflix characters for the time being. Neither Elden Hensen nor Deborah Ann Woll is expected to be back as Foggy and Karen, respectively. It's unclear if those characters are being recast or excluded from the MCU series altogether.
