Wild The Dark Knight Theory Gives Joker Superpowers (& It Ruins Him)

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight is widely regarded as one of the best superhero movies ever made, but not even this movie has been safe from all types of theories, and one claims that Heath Ledger’s Joker had superpowers, but this completely ruins the character. After the success of Batman Begins, Nolan continued exploring a realistic but dark Gotham City in The Dark Knight, where Christian Bale’s Batman faced two different but dangerous villains: the Joker and Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), who thanks to the Joker became the classic Batman villain Two-Face.
The Dark Knight followed Batman, James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and Harvey Dent as they joined forces to dismantle organized crime in Gotham City, but they weren’t counting on the presence of the Joker, who only wanted to create chaos all over Gotham. Ledger’s Joker was far from previous campy live-action versions, and he brought a psychopathic criminal mastermind with a sadistic sense of humor, whose unpredictability led to some truly tragic moments, such as Rachel Dawes’ (Maggie Gyllenhaal) death and Harvey’s transformation into Two-Face. The Joker had no superpowers in The Dark Knight, but one theory claims that he did, and it was a unique superpower.
