Superman & Lois Villain Gets Major Powers Upgrade From DC Comics

Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Superman and Lois season 3, episode 2, "Uncontrollable Forces."The new version of the DC Comics villain Onomatopoeia introduced in Superman and Lois season 3 proved to have a far deadlier set of powers than previously suggested. The sound-based supervillain first appeared in the Superman and Lois season 3 premiere, "Closer," where he used his sonic powers to manipulate and distract Superman. It now seems likely that Onomatopoeia could potentially hurt the Man of Steel based on one unique application of his abilities.
One subplot of Superman and Lois season 3, episode 2, "Uncontrollable Forces," centered around Smallville Mayor Lana Lang and DoD scientist John Henry Irons. The two were investigating the death of the former mayor, George Dean, who gave Lana a cryptic message just before his death at the hands of Onomatopoeia. The message led them to a USB drive hidden in Lana's office. Unfortunately, Onomatopoeia struck before they had a chance to examine the drive and find out what information George Dean had died to reveal.
