MCU Theory: Marvel Already Set Up Namor Joining The Avengers

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever may have already set up Namor joining Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Marvel has offered no confirmation on the Sub-Mariner’s role in the next Avengers movie, but recent details point to his involvement. The Kang Dynasty writer Jeff Loveness recently named the character as someone he’s looking forward to writing.
Naturally, this comment raises the impression that Namor is one of the MCU characters Marvel will use to fill out the Phase 6 Avengers roster. But in spite of his comic ties to the team, Namor arguably has a difficult road toward Avengers membership. After all, he just killed Queen Ramonda and waged war on Wakanda. Plus, he’s hardly interested in redemption. For that reason, it may seem that much has to happen before Namor can become a hero. Interestingly, though, Marvel may already be pushing him in that direction. A scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever may have laid the groundwork for Namor to become an Avenger in The Kang Dynasty.
