"LETS GO": Star Wars Fans Thrilled By Lars Mikkelsen Thrawn Casting

Star Wars Celebration 2023's dedicated Ahsoka panel confirms actor Lars Mikkelsen is bringing Grand Admiral Thrawn to live-action, and fans are massively celebrating the huge win. Having helped define the character's canonical version in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, it was widely believed that Mikkelsen was the only real choice to play Thrawn in the upcoming Ahsoka series and beyond in future Star Wars shows. Likewise, it seems like showrunner Dave Filoni agrees.
Now, fans are celebrating Mikkelsen's return online on par with the thunderous applause he received when he took the stage at Star Wars Celebration 2023 this weekend in London.
