10 More WandaVision Spinoffs We Want To See After Agatha All Along & Vision

It"s possible that even more WandaVision spinoffs could be developed for the MCU after Marvel Television"s Agatha All Along and the upcoming Vision series. WandaVision not only kicked-off the MCU"s Phase 4 and the Multiverse Saga, but also marked the first time Marvel Studios had branched out into the television format. WandaVision"s huge success paved the way for subsequent MCU Disney+ shows, and led to the development of two spinoffs, but the series may have set up even more exciting spinoff shows.
Agatha All Along premiered in September 2024, catching up with Kathryn Hahn"s Agatha Harkness in Westview, New Jersey, while Terry Matalas" upcoming Vision series will bring back Paul Bettany in 2026, returning as White Vision from WandaVision"s dramatic finale. Aside from setting up Agatha Harkness and White Vision, WandaVision also teased many more potentially-exciting storylines that deserve to be explored in the MCU"s future. It would be brilliant to see some of these plots expanded in the MCU following Agatha All Along and the Vision series" releases.
10 Monica Rambeau’s Photon Could Headline A Multiversal Series Teyonah Parris Debuted As Monica Rambeau In WandaVision Close Teyonah Parris" Monica Rambeau, who was played as a child by Akira Akbar in 2019"s Captain Marvel, was one of the most exciting additions to WandaVision. Parris was originally introduced as the controlled Geraldine in the Hex, but her journey into, out of, and back into the Hex altered her DNA, giving her energy absorption abilities. This made her a valuable asset to SABER, which led to her teaming up with Captain Marvel again in 2023"s The Marvels, which ended with Monica Rambeau trapped in an alternate reality - a fantastic place for a Monica Rambeau series to begin.
Related Who Is Photon? Monica Rambeau's Origin & Powers Explained After she gained her abilities in WandaVision, The Marvels Monica Rambeau, a.k.a. Photon, has become more important than ever to the MCU.
The Marvels didn"t perform as well as expected at the box office, leaving Monica Rambeau"s future uncertain. However, there is a lot of potential to explore the multiverse with a Monica Rambeau series, spinning off both from WandaVision and The Marvels. This could be a great opportunity for the X-Men seen in The Marvels, including Kelsey Grammer"s Beast and Lashana Lynch"s Binary, to be developed further. While this series perhaps wouldn"t have many connections to WandaVision, it would be great to see Monica Rambeau"s story continue.
9 A Retrospective HYDRA Series Could See Them Take Over Sokovia Wanda & Pietro Maximoff Were Successfully Enhanced By HYDRA Close Ever since Elizabeth Olsen"s debut as Wanda Maximoff in the post-credits scene of 2014"s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, her connections to HYDRA have been well known. WandaVision episode 8, "Previously On," gave a more in-depth look at Wanda"s experience as a subject of HYDRA"s experiments with the gem in Loki"s scepter, later revealed to be the Mind Stone. It was revealed that the Mind Stone enhanced Wanda"s natural magical abilities, which would eventually lead to her transformation into the Scarlet Witch.
In 2020"s The Wakanda Files book, it was explained that HYDRA chose to set up shop in Sokovia because of its remote location, its low profile, and the fact that several of Sokovia"s citizens possessed "the appropriate genetic markers" for the experiments to work. Many believe this implied the debut of mutants, but this hasn"t been confirmed.
While HYDRA"s actions in Sokovia and experiments with the Mind Stone have been alluded to many times, they have never been explored in detail. WandaVision"s flashbacks to HYDRA"s experiments could act as the perfect jumping off point for a series focused on the supervillain organization. This could explain why HYDRA chose Sokovia, how Wanda and Pietro Maximoff came to be subjects of HYDRA"s experiments, and perhaps introduce other powered characters who were exposed to the Mind Stone.
8 SWORD Deserves More Development In The MCU SWORD Hasn't Been Heard From Since WandaVision Close While a Monica Rambeau series could explore the multiverse, her organization, SWORD, also deserves more development on the ground. SWORD as the focus of a new MCU series could share similarities with Marvel Television"s Agents of SHIELD, which ran for seven seasons between 2013 and 2020. This could be a brilliant way to examine small-scale, grounded and episodic stories, with a team from SWORD, the MCU"s Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division, at the center, similar to how Phil Coulson"s team led Agents of SHIELD.
SWORD"s purpose in the MCU is still unclear, and the organization hasn"t been seen since WandaVision, so it"s hard to know its current status. SWORD was established by Maria Rambeau following her experience in Captain Marvel, suggesting it was a force for good, at least until Josh Stamberg"s Tyler Hayward took control during the Blip. SWORD"s rebuilding and reawakening of Vision, with the purpose of killing Wanda Maximoff, suggested the organization became twisted, and a possible spinoff series could explain how, why, when and what SWORD is up to now.
7 Billy & Tommy Maximoff Could Lead The Young Avengers Billy Maximoff Has Been Rumored To Have Already Returned To The MCU Close WandaVision introduced Billy and Tommy Maximoff, the sons of the Scarlet Witch and Vision, to the MCU for the first time, setting up their futures as the superheroes Wiccan and Speed, respectively. WandaVision"s Billy and Tommy were connected directly to the Westview Hex, so when it was dismantled, they ceased to exist. However, after their demises in Marvel Comics, Billy and Tommy Maximoff were reincarnated as Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd, and there is speculation this could happen, or may have already happened, in the MCU.
Related Scarlet Witch's Son Was Just Basically Confirmed By A Devilishly Clever MCU Detail Theories about Scarlet Witch’s son have been common of late, with one detail in Agatha All Along seemingly confirming his secret identity.
10 If Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd debut in the MCU as the new Wiccan and Speed, they would be perfect candidates to lead a WandaVision spinoff series. This could see them lead the MCU"s upcoming Young Avengers team, alongside Kamala Khan"s Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop"s Hawkeye and others. This series could perhaps adapt Marvel Comics" Children"s Crusade event, which saw the Young Avengers go on the hunt for the Scarlet Witch. Joe Locke is rumored to be playing Kaplan in Agatha All Along, so the MCU may have already set up this storyline perfectly.
6 Jimmy Woo & Darcy Lewis Teaming Up Would Be Great In A Crime Series Randall Park & Kat Dennings Were Great Additions To WandaVision Close The unlikely duo of Randall Park"s FBI agent Jimmy Woo and Kat Dennings" Thor mainstay Darcy Lewis was a welcome addition to WandaVision. Woo and Lewis investigated the Westview Hex alongside SWORD, but soon went rogue after learning of Tyler Hayward"s true intentions. It would be fantastic to see Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis team up after WandaVision for more science-based crime-fighting adventures, perhaps centered on the FBI of the MCU, similarly to how the CIA is now getting more attention, and organizations such as SHIELD, SWORD and SABER have always been crucial.
SWORD was first mentioned in a deleted scene from 2011"s Thor, but Marvel Studios didn"t own the rights to the organization back then, so this scene was removed. This could have connected Darcy Lewis to SWORD a decade before WandaVision.
Jimmy Woo helped bring down Tyler Hayward in WandaVision"s intense series finale, and he may have solidified himself as the perfect replacement for the corrupted Director. Woo could recruit Darcy Lewis into SWORD, and help to transform the organization back into a force for good, bringing SWORD back to Maria Rambeau"s original vision. The banter and on-screen chemistry between Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis was captivating, so it would be excellent to see this milked even more in the MCU"s future.
5 The Origin Of The Darkhold Could Be Explored The Darkhold Hasn't Been Given Enough Attention In The MCU Close The Darkhold is one of the most mysterious new relics in the MCU, with very little being known about the history of the Book of the Damned. Wong explained in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that the demonic entity Chthon wrote his dark knowledge on the walls of the Darkhold Castle on Mount Wundagore, which was then transcribed into the physical Darkhold book. However, Chthon has never been seen in live-action, and the transcriber of the Darkhold is unknown, but a Darkhold-centric series could explore the books" history.

Agatha All Along seemed to have teased the Darkhold having nine previous owners, including Agatha Harkness and Wanda Maximoff. The remaining seven are unknown, and a new Disney+ series could be the perfect way to reveal these past owners and what they used the Book of Sins for. In the same way that WandaVision spinoff Agatha All Along is exploring Agatha Harkness" history with the Darkhold, the same can be done for other corrupted individuals. This could even mark Chthon"s own MCU debut, which is very exciting.
4 White Vision Perfectly Sets Up A West Coast Avengers Series The Upcoming Vision Series Could Also Set Up The MCU's West Coast Avengers Close Paul Bettany"s White Vision is already getting his own solo spinoff series from WandaVision, with Star Trek: Picard"s Terry Matalas as showrunner. However, following this series, which is expected to explore Vision re-learning who he is after SWORD rebuilt him with corrupted memories, a future spinoff series could focus on the West Coast Avengers. White Vision was a central member of the West Coast Avengers in Marvel Comics, so it would be great to see his series set up the team, perhaps with new and lower-level heroes than the main Avengers team.
Marvel Comics" West Coast Avengers first formed in 1984"s West Coast Avengers #1, and the most recent team formed in 2018, comprising Hawkeye, Fuse, Miss America, Gwenpool, Kid Omega, Jeff the Baby Landshark and Alloy.
Several heroes already operate on the West Coast in the MCU, including the likes of Ant-Man, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk, while many others from the Marvel Comics team have been set up. Hawkeye, War Machine, Wonder Man and Moon Knight would make formidable additions, while the Scarlet Witch herself was also a member of the West Coast Avengers. It would be fantastic to see this team brought together after WandaVision, especially if White Vision finds his purpose again in the MCU"s upcoming Vision series.
3 WandaVision May Have Been A Test For House Of M House Of M Is One Of The Scarlet Witch's Most Notable Marvel Comics Stories Close Marvel Comics" House of M event from 2005 is one of the Scarlet Witch"s most notable storylines. In it, the Scarlet Witch creates an alternate reality where mutants are the dominant species on Earth, with the Maximoff family and Magneto ruling over them all. The themes of this event formed the basis of WandaVision, with Wanda creating her own world in the boundaries of Westview, New Jersey, on a smaller scale to House of M. However, WandaVision could have just been practice for Elizabeth Olsen"s Scarlet Witch.
An adaptation of House of M has been speculated to be how mutants join the MCU"s main continuity, perhaps with a twist of the Scarlet Witch"s iconic Marvel Comics quote, "no more mutants." It would be incredible to see this moment play out in the MCU, especially given Wanda Maximoff"s recent stint as a villain in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Of course, the Scarlet Witch would need to return to the MCU for this story to unfold, but adapting House of M would make for a fantastic and significant series for the MCU.
2 Mephisto Deserves A Series After WandaVision & Agatha All Along Agatha All Along Mentioned Mephisto By Name For The First Time Close Mephisto, the Marvel demon adapted from the Faust Mephistopheles, has been heavily rumored to be debuting in the MCU since WandaVision, with the series featuring many hints towards the demon"s appearance. Subsequent projects, including Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, all teased Mephisto"s debut, but Agatha All Along has taken this one step further. Agatha All Along name-dropped Mephisto for the first time in episode 3, "Through Many Miles of Tricks and Trials."
Related Marvel's Latest Mephisto Tease Reveals The Biggest Problem With The MCU Mephisto was name-dropped in Agatha All Along which was an exciting moment for longtime MCU fans, but continues a problematic trend in the MCU.
5 There has been speculation about Mephisto"s debut in Ironheart, but it would be brilliant to see the iconic Marvel villain as the subject of his own MCU series. Mephisto is one of Marvel"s most notable and powerful villains, so he certainly has the presence to lead his own series, and after Loki and Agatha All Along have shown how successful villain-centric shows can be, Mephisto could be next. This could elaborate on his possible connection to Wanda Maximoff and her children, perhaps adapting their true origin story from Marvel Comics.
1 Sharon Davis' Return Would Be Perfectly In Line With The MCU's Trends Sharon Davis Became A Member Of Agatha Harkness' Coven In Agatha All Along Close Sitcom legend Debra Jo Rupp made her MCU debut as Sharon Davis, a.k.a. Mrs. Hart, in WandaVision"s premiere episode. Controlled by Wanda Maximoff, Davis attended dinner with Maximoff and Vision, and later confronted the Scarlet Witch during her battle against Agatha Harkness. It was brilliant to see Rupp return as Sharon Davis in Agatha All Along, still reeling from the Scarlet Witch"s takeover of Westview. Brought into Agatha Harkness" coven, Sharon Davis hilariously joined them on the Witches" Road, but this ended tragically for her.
Sharon Davis became a fan-favorite character in Agatha All Along"s first three episodes, with her enthusiasm during "The Ballad of the Witches" Road," confusion about entering the Witches" Road, and love of cheap wine and fine kitchens grabbing viewers" hearts. While it"s hard to say what a Sharon Davis-centric spinoff series would actually explore, Marvel Studios would benefit from bringing TV icon Debra Jo Rupp back into the MCU. This could explain her life before WandaVision, perhaps even revealing her to actually be a witch.

8.8/10 WandaVision AdventureDramaActionSuperhero WandaVision, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first TV show on Disney+, first aired in 2021. The series kicked off the MCU’s Phase 4 and brought back Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany as Vision. WandaVision strayed away from Marvel’s typical formula, this time formatting itself more like a classic sitcom as Wanda struggles to cope with the death of Vision.
