Andrew Garfield Addresses Returning As Spider-Man Again After No Way Home

Andrew Garfield gives a positive update on possibly returning as his version of Spider-Man after his appearance in the MCU"s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In a new Esquire profile, Garfield looked back at his time being part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home cast after The Amazing Spider-Man 3 was canceled. When asked if he would ever consider coming back as his version of Spider-Man in a future Marvel project, Garfield stressed that he is always keeping the door open as long as "it was the right thing." He said:

It was really healing for me. For sure, I would 100 percent come back if it was the right thing, if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into. I love that character, and it brings joy. If part of what I bring is joy, then I’m joyful in return.
