（中央社記者顏伶如舊金山24日專電）經典性感偶像瑪麗蓮夢露1962年過世後葬於洛杉磯地區一處墓園，這位女星墓穴正上方的穴位，今天在eBay網站以460萬美元價格成交。

熱門拍賣網站eBay今天這項堪稱「天價」的拍賣案以460萬美元成交，遠遠超過8月14日賣家推出拍賣時的50萬美元起價，引起媒體高度注意。

拍賣物品是位於洛杉磯地區「西木區紀念公園」（Westwood Village Memorial Park）墓地裏的一個墓穴位置，而這個墓穴特殊之處則是剛好在已故女星瑪麗蓮夢露（Marilyn Monroe）墓穴的正上方。

原本這個墓穴位置安葬的是1986年過世的朋契爾（Richard Poncher），他生前從這位女星前夫、美國棒球明星迪馬喬（Joe DiMaggio）手中購得這個墓穴位置。

根據「洛杉磯時報」（The Los Angeles Times）報導，朋契爾遺孀如今需要籌錢支付160萬美元的巨額房貸，只得將朋契爾的墓穴拿來拍賣。

LOS ANGELES — The chance to spend eternity on top of Marilyn Monroe is again available after a Japanese person withdrew a 4.6-million-dollar bid on eBay for the burial space above the film legend.

"The person who was supposed to buy it turned out to be someone who couldn"t buy it," said Steve Miller, a mortgage broker and banker who represents Elsie Poncher, the seller of the crypt space.

Miller said people who had put in similar bids had been contacted again with a "buy it now" offer.

"I have no response from anybody yet," he said, adding: "They"ve got until around 6 o"clock (0100 GMT Wednesday) this evening."

An unnamed Japanese bidder was the ill-financed winner of the crypt space that currently holds the body of Richard Poncher.

His widow, Elsie, decided to move her husband"s body and auction off the burial spot to pay off the more than one-million-dollar mortgage on her Beverly Hills home.

The crypt spot was offered to bidders on online auction website eBay, and by Monday, a winning offer of 4,602,100 dollars had been made by an unidentified bidder.

But hours after an invoice was sent to the auction winner, the bidder emailed Poncher"s representative, withdrawing the offer.

"I am awfully sorry, but I need to cancel this because of the paying problem," the email said.
