Shawn Levy wants to bring
Deadpool and
Spider-Man together in the MCU, and a new fan-made poster proves just how brilliant this team-up adventure could be. Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson will be joining the MCU permanently after his debut in Marvel Studios' upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, creating the opportunity for him to cross paths with a huge array of other notable MCU heroes. This has happened several times in Marvel Comics, with one of Deadpool's most memorable crossover events seeing him embark on many adventures with Peter Parker's Spider-Man.
Deadpool & Wolverine director
Shawn Levy recently claimed he wants to helm a Deadpool and Spider-Man crossover in the MCU (via Total Film), spurring excitement about the possibility of these iconic heroes teaming up. A fan-made concept poster shared by soloauthority posits what this crossover movie could look like.
The concept poster parodies a scene from 2002's Spider-Man, during which Peter Parker kisses Mary Jane Watson while hanging upside down. It's unlikely Deadpool and Spider-Man would have this kind of relationship in the MCU's future, but bringing them together could be great for them both.

How A Deadpool & Spider-Man Movie Would Benefit Both MCU Heroes Close Deadpool and Spider-Man could help each other to become better, more well-rounded men and stronger heroes.
Ryan Reynolds and Tom Holland's live-action depictions of Deadpool and Spider-Man, respectively, couldn't be more different. It's difficult to imagine what dynamic these juxtaposing heroes would have, should they team up in the MCU, but this is perhaps what makes the prospect of Shawn Levy's dream movie so enticing.
Bringing Deadpool and Spider-Man together would showcase new sides of both heroes, allowing Reynolds and Holland to discover new aspects to their beloved characters that haven't been seen before.
Deadpool's aggression, violence, and general R-rated themes would bring out a more mature and hard-hitting side of Spider-Man, while the wall-crawler could perhaps teach the Merc with a Mouth a thing or two about actually doing good for good's sake.
This is the sort of relationship the pair explored in their various meetings in Marvel Comics, most notably during the Spider-Man/Deadpool series, which ran for 50 issues between 2016 and 2019. The pair forged a strong bond in this series, proving they could become firm friends in the live-action MCU.
Related I've Been Waiting 5 Years For A Deadpool & Spider-Man Movie, Please Make It Happen Marvel Shawn Levy recently shared his interest in a Spider-Man/Deadpool crossover, and it"s exactly what I"d love to see after 2024"s Deadpool & Wolverine.
After Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland's Peter Parker is completely alone in the world, and in dire need of some new superpowered allies. Similarly, Reynolds' Deadpool will be entering a new reality in the MCU's Deadpool & Wolverine, where he will need to build a new life from scratch. Deadpool and Spider-Man could help each other to become better, more well-rounded men and stronger heroes. The crossover possibilities for
Deadpool are endless following his MCU Phase 5 debut, but his potential journey with
Spider-Man could benefit him more than any other.
